ON EBAY 04/07
SELLER WRITES:
GENERAL: You are looking at a 1983 Jaguar XJS. It has a 5.2 Litre V 12 engine paired with an automatic transmission. It is fully equipped with p. windows, A/C, Cruise control and leather. Please email me with any questions.
EXTERIOR: First sorry for the pictures, they do the car no justice. As you can see the car is in beautiful shape. Paint is glossy with only very minor rust (pictured). All glass and lenses are nice and present. Most chrome is nice rust and pitting on the front and rear bumpers, not too bad. All four rims good. Overall a very pretty car.
INTERIOR: The interior is just as nice as the exterior. All leather is nice, so is the dash and carpet. The windows work and dash lights. I do not about the cruise or A/C, but the heat does work. I am also not sure about the gas and temp gauges. All other gauges work. No radio. Overall great shape.
MECHANICAL: This is why its a project. The car runs and drives. The engine is running rough and exhaust is very rich. I have driven the car and the transmission seems fine, shifts smooth, but is leaking fluid. It looks like the car has tried to been fixed and wires are showing in the trunk (picture). I do not know much more about the car please email me with any questions. The car will have to be towed. I will deliver the car up to 150 miles from Pittsburgh for a fee. I will not deliver the parts car.
PARTS CAR: The parts car is a 1984-5 Jaguar XJS V 12 with an automatic transmission. The body is in good shape the drive train is fairly complete. I have no keys or title for this car. The interior is a little beat up. You can have this car to take or you can strip it for anything you might need.
