This 1989 Jaguar XJ-S V12 Convertible is a relatively low-mileage example of the elegant open-top grand tourer, presented in a vibrant hue and described as being in good condition. 

It is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.3-litre V12, which sends up to 295hp to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. 

A left-hand-drive, US-market example, it remained in use until its recent export to Europe, and it is now offered for sale by the trade. 

The XJ-S is supplied with its US title and EU import documentation (all duties and VAT have been paid). 

The mileage is supported by the car’s records, but the US Carfax shows ‘Not Actual Mileage’ titles were issued between 2021 and 2023 as the odometer stopped working for a short period of time (April 2021 and September 2021). The odometer was then repaired (not replaced). The odometer currently displays 61,462 miles. On average the car was driven about 400-500 miles a year from 2011 till 2021. And 87 miles were recorded between April 2021 and September 2021. The seller believes the current mileage to be very close to accurate. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES   

This XJ-S V12 Convertible is finished in the radiant hue of Signal Red with a black convertible hood, over a classic dark tan leather-trimmed interior punctuated by burr walnut trim inlays on the dashboard, centre console, and door cards. 

It rides on stylish chrome wire wheels, shod in Cooper Cobra tyres. 

Factory-fitted equipment includes cruise control, an electrically operated convertible roof, heated and electrically adjustable seats, air conditioning, a trip computer, and a Jaguar-branded radio/cassette player. 

The car will be supplied with its owner’s pack including service book and a collection of supporting invoices.  

CONDITION   

The seller is not aware of any mechanical or electrical faults.   

SERVICE HISTORY  

The last maintenance was in January 2022 at 53,906 miles at Sachs Automotive. This included replacement of shock absorber bushings, replacement wheel bearings, replacement brake pads, and replacement front brake disc. 

In September 2021 at 53,492 miles, Sachs Automotive serviced the steering and suspension, and replaced brake booster. 

In September 2018 at 52,894 miles, Bigler Motors carried out a service, also replacing the spark plugs and spark plug leads.
