This 1989 Jaguar XJS convertible spent time in Oregon before being acquired by the seller in 2008 and relocating to Texas. The car is finished in grey over red leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a power-operated black soft top, 15” Dayton wire-spoke wheels, fog lights, heated and power-adjustable seats, an onboard computer, cruise control, power accessories, and a factory cassette stereo. This XJS has 24k miles and is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Dorchester Grey Metallic (LDP) and equipped with a power-operated black soft top with a glass rear window, fog lights, a front air dam, chrome accents and side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller states the convertible top boot is missing, a ding in the driver’s door was repaired, and the power-operated antenna is non-functional. Blemishes on the paint and trim and corrosion on the rear bumper can be seen in the gallery below along with VIN stickers from around the body.

Dayton 15″ wire-spoke wheels wear Jaguar center caps and are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with a fully independent suspension and stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The cabin features heated and power-adjustable seats upholstered in Mulberry leather with matching door panels, and burl wood veneers accent the dash, center console, and doors. Amenities include cruise control, an onboard computer, Jaguar-branded sill plates, power accessories, and a factory cassette stereo. The seller reports the wood veneer trim around the shifter is cracked, the air conditioning does not blow cold, and the passenger window gets stuck in the down position occasionally.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 24k miles, approximately 8k of which were added during current ownership.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in February 2020, the battery cover is not currently installed, and a maintenance log can be seen in the gallery below. The seller reports an engine oil leak that leaves drops on the garage floor when parked.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a GM TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
