This 1989 Jaguar XJ-S V12 convertible was purchased from Jake Kaplan’s Jaguar in Warwick, Rhode Island in January 1989 by the first owner who retained ownership of the car until 2006, when it was purchased by the second owner and relocated to Florida. It was purchased in May 2009 by the current owner, who has since added approximately 5k of the 27k miles shown. The car is finished in Satin Beige over Barley leather and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a brown soft top, 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This XJ-S V12 convertible is now offered at no reserve with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace certificate, the owner’s manual, service records, a battery tender, spare parts, and New Hampshire registration.
The car is finished in Satin Beige and features a brown soft top, pinstripes, quad headlights, front fog lights, chrome trim, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets. An October 1991 entry on the Carfax report notes that the vehicle was reported stolen and was recovered in November 1992, and a December 1992 entry notes an insurance claim was paid as a result.
Silver-finished 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Vredstein Sprint Classic tires that were installed in preparation for the sale. Braking is provided by four-wheel ventilated anti-lock discs.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable seats upholstered in Barley leather along with burl wood veneer accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior amenities include a cassette stereo, cruise control, an onboard computer, automatic climate control, and a locking rear storage compartment.
The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 27k miles. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in an October 2024 entry, though the report indicates this may be the result of a clerical error.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace certificate lists the factory colors and identification numbers, along with the build and dispatch dates.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned theft and recovery as well as the mileage inconsistency. There is a gap in entries between August 1994 and September 2003.
The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its New Hampshire registration.
