Ebay item 4/6/19

www.ebay.com/itm/1989-Jaguar-XJS-Convertible/153437929643

Current bid:$1,025 no reserve 21 bids 6 days left in auction, seller race2in, 140k miles, car now said to be in Chiefland, Florida.

Seller's description:

Her name is Mildred. She has been sitting in my barn for the past 7 years or so. I believe I'm the 3rd or maybe the 4th owner. I drove her into the barn when the transmission wouldn't go into high gear. I used to start her every couple weeks but one day she didn't start so I haven't messed with it. Very solid car. The only rust spot is on the driver side just in front of the rear tire. The convertible top has no tears but the stitching is coming undone by the rear window. The inner headliner needs to be replaced. The motor will rotate freely but the is no spark. All windows and top work as they should. Doors are solid. Floor pans and trunk are solid. It has a newer radiator (1998 Mustang I believe) with the crossover done. It's missing one of the mufflers. The cruise control was removed to replace the distributor cap years ago and wasn't replaced (the diaphragm was cracked) it is included with the car. All the personnel leather folders as well a COMPLETE service manual are also included. Also a parts manual that has every single part on the car with its part number. Please feel free to ask any questions. She has spent her whole life here in Florida within about 100 miles from where she is sitting now.

p.s. The original owner had her christening at a horse farm down here in Ocala when purchased new. Mildred IS her birth name

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
