I've owned the XJS for 6 years, I bought it in 2010 as 3rd owner, car is in beautiful condition, had 66,400km when I bought it, now has 107,000kms, works great. I had the car repainted two years ago, due to paint fading almost pink across rear quarter from being kept in a sun-exposed carport. The auto specialist stripped the car down completely, sanded, primed and applied 5 coats Signal Red, sanded between 3rd and 5th coat, then three coats Top Clear, and buffed. He was 40 hours re-assembling all details. Well worth the money I paid.
The best comment I get is people saying they cannot tell it has been re-finished.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
