Car returns to ebay 5/20/23

www.ebay.com/itm/185904902190

Opening bid $10,000, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller brattlere, car now in Ogunquit, Maine, 58k miles, previously in Cumberland, Ontario, Canada

Seller's description:

This 1990 XJS convertible is finished in Artic Blue with blue interior and top – great color combination. Full TWR Sport Kit, including rare wheels and quad exhausts, installed by dealer. Extensive maintenance history with many upgrades.

I purchased the Jaguar in 2019 from a listing on EBay. The seller was the second owner, and had known the car since it was purchased new. It was located in Ontario, and I picked the car up there and drove it back to Maine. I have all the importation paperwork, and the car is currently registered in Maine, and has a Maine title. The car came with extensive paperwork and a long list of repairs/ improvements done between 2017-2019 by the previous owner - info to be provided to the buyer. Pirelli tires have only a few thousand miles on them. Under my ownership I have continued to make numerous upgrades and improvements, which include:

High torque starter

German thermostats ( Paul’s)

Improved fan switch ( Faster Jags )

KNN filters

AC expansion valve and drier

Oxygen sensors

Fuel pump

New spark plugs

Since 2019 I have had very little opportunity to drive the car - back and forth to Massachusetts a couple of times and the occasional weekend. We have recently purchased a home in Florida, and decided it’s time to sell the Jag and let someone else enjoy it more than we have been able to.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
