This 1989 Jaguar XJ-S V12 coupe remained in a private collection until 2022, when it was purchased by the current owner, and now shows 55k miles. The car is finished in Signal Red over Savile Gray leather and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, silver-finished 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. In 2024 the ignition components, tires, fuel filter, and fuel pump were replaced and the transmission was rebuilt. This XJ-S V12 coupe is offered by the seller on behalf of their brother at no reserve with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, spare parts, a car cover, spare keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s brother’s name.
The car is finished in Signal Red and features quad headlights, front fog lights, chrome mirror caps, silver pinstripes, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets. A dent is visible in the hood.
Silver-finished 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 225/60 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires that were fitted in preparation for the sale. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Savile Gray leather along with burl wood veneer accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes a cassette stereo, a driver-side airbag, and cruise control. The air conditioning system is inoperable, the automatic shoulder seatbelt mechanism is disabled, the driver’s seat shows wear on the piping, and the radio code is unknown.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 55k miles.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. Between March and April 2024 the spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, the fuel filter, fuel pump, battery, and hoses leading to the fuel rail were replaced, a rebuilt ignition amplifier was installed, the fuel injectors were rebuilt, and an oil change was performed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission was rebuilt in April 2024.
