What we have here might possibly be the nicest XJS I have ever laid eyes on and definitely one of the nicest we have had in inventory. This is a near perfect two-owner, low mileage example coupe that comes with its original owners manuals, keys and all the little boxed items that you received at time of purchase from the dealer including touch up paint that this XJS does not need!. It sits on a set of Jaguar Wire wheels and excellent tires however still has its original wheels and tires that accompany the sale. Has the original spare tire as well as Jaguar tool kit. This car is all original, it starts, runs and drives exceptionally well with no issues that we have found. It is tremendously dry in the engine compartment with no knows engine leaks or smoking. The interior is like new with working A/C, windows, mirrors etc....The car has been very well cared for out of a private collector.

This 1988 Jaguar XJ-S V12 coupe is finished in Grenadier Red over Barley leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 15″ wire-spoke wheels, chrome trim, quad headlights, dual exhaust outlets, heated power-adjustable seats, a cassette stereo, cruise control, automatic climate control, and woodgrain trim. The car spent time in Michigan prior to the seller’s purchase in 2022, and it now shows 32k miles. This XJ-S V12 is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a New York title.

The car is finished in Grenadier Red (CEH) and equipped with quad headlights, front fog lights with Jaguar-branded covers, chrome mirror caps, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets.

Chrome-finished 15″ wire-spoke wheels feature faux knock-offs and are mounted with 215/70 Pirelli P4000 Super Touring tires that are said to have been installed in June 2022. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Barley leather along with burl wood veneer accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes cruise control, automatic climate control, power windows, Jaguar-branded floor mats, and an AM/FM cassette stereo.

The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 32k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
