This very special Jaguar XJS-C Cabriolet, serial number 145145, is a one owner from Vancouver, Washington. The car is now here at our facility in Sarasota, Florida.

145145 was delivered new to the owner of the N.W. Packing Company in Vancouver, Washington on November 30th, 1987. It was custom ordered by the owner of the N.W. Packing Company in June of 1987 from Monte Shelton Motor Company in Portland, Oregon.

145145 stayed in Vancouver until the wife's passing in December of 2024. We acquired the car from the family estate. Naturally, 145145 was meticulously serviced by the Monte Shelton Motor Company in Portland during it's entire life - even after the Monte Shelton Motor Company was sold to the Don Rasmussen Company and became Jaguar Portland.

The owner of the N.W. Packing Company was a very close friend of Monte Shelton. When the time came to order this rare XJ-SC, then the owner of the N.W. Packing Company asked Monte Shelton to try and pull some strings with the Jaguar factory. Long story dwindled down short, the Vin number 145145 was 'achieved' because the number 145 was the N.W. Packing Company owner's wife's birthday ~ January of 1945...hence the 1 - 45, or 145. It was her 'lucky number'.

The owner of the N.W. Packing Company presented his wife this XJ-SC serial number 145145 as a gift.

Only a total of 70 XJ-SC's were 1988 production models.
