Car to be at auction 7/12
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php

Auction description:

Lot 143 - 1990 Jaguar XJR-S- 22,000 Miles From New
Estimate: £8,000 - £10,000
Registration Number: G6 XJR
Chassis Number: SAJJSAES3BB170636

This stunning 6.0 Litre XJR-S is finished in Artic Blue metallic with complementary magnolia hide. Described by the vendor to be in excellent overall condition, G6 XJR has covered a mere 22,000 miles from new. It comes complete with a history file containing some old MoT's, a very rare XJR-S catalogue and enthusiast club folder. Supplied with the cherished number G6 XJR, this XJR-S benefits from a newly fitted exhaust, rear dampers and rebuilt brake callipers.

A very special Jaguar indeed, with believed only 600 cars built- this has to be one of the lowest mileage XJR-S in existence.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
