Ebay item 3/12/12

Current bid $1,000, no reserve, 12 bids 5 days left in auction. 60k miles.

Sellers description:
1980 Jaguar XJS that's been swapped from the original V12 to a Chevy 350. I know very little about this car; I only have it because I got it as repayment of a debt. There is some front-end damage to the left headlight assembly and there are no keys for the car, so I don't know if it runs. THERE IS NO TITLE FOR THIS VEHICLE! I have a bill of sale and the contact information for the widow of the previous owner, but since its from Illinois, I can't get a title. In many Eastern states, this would be sufficient, but that is not the case in Wisconsin. Without the title, I'd regrettably call this a parts car. The interior is in good shape and would look excellent with a detailed cleaning.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
