Auction description:

Lot 213

1991 Jaguar XJS V-12

€15.000 - €20.000

Offered without reserve

RM | Sotheby's - ESSEN 11 - 12 APRIL 2019 - The Youngtimer Collection

Chassis No. SAJJNJEW4EP182530

Offered from the Youngtimer Collection

Delivered new to Japan

Early facelift model

This example was among the first cars finished in metallic regency red complemented by a doeskin leather interior. Its early history is not known, but it was exported from Japan to the UK in 2015 and subsequently acquired by its current owner one year later and exported to Switzerland. Presented today in wonderful condition throughout, it would be a wonderful twelve-cylinder Jaguar to drive and enjoy.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
