The Interior
Very good condition throughout

Drivers sun visor would benefit from attention
The inside of this XJS is excellent. The light grey leather interior has matching carpets and is in excellent condition throughout, offering the luxurious driving experience the XJS is renowned for. Being the Celebration model it features the wooden steering wheel and the combination of refinement and luxury make this grand tourer the perfect car for those who want to travel with plenty of style.
This XJS presents very well throughout and the entire interior is in fantastic condition with very little signs of wear. The seats are free from rips and tears and the bolsters are very good. The dashboard is in perfect condition with the extensive wood trim presenting beautifully and all of the dials and gauges work as they should and look perfect.
The Exterior
Excellent overall condition
Metallic blue paint
Celebration diamond turned wheels
Badges, light lenses, windows, trim and hood all present very well
The exterior condition reflects the condition of the interior in that it is also excellent. With an instantly recognisable shape, low and long, the XJS is a car that makes an impression wherever it goes and being a convertible finished in metallic blue it is simply a fantastic looking car. Its condition belies its age and mileage with the car presenting in a condition of something much newer.
Even without the gorgeous metallic blue paintwork and the Celebration edition wheels and steering wheel this would still be a fine example of an XJS. Thanks to having been kept garaged by the current owner and meticulously maintained this XJS is a great example of just how good Jaguar’s grand tourer can look.
The Mechanics
MOT to March 2023
Starts easily and idles smoothly
Fantastic Jaguar 3980cc AJ16 engine
Sounds superb
The owner reports that the car drives perfectly
Mechanical operation of the hood works perfectly
It’s clear to see from the photos that this car has been very well cared for and the mechanics are no exception. The four litre inline-six starts easily and idles smoothly. As you would expect from a six cylinder Jaguar engine it sounds fantastic. Both the engine bay and underside present very well.
The owner reports that the car dries exactly as it should, pulling well, braking straight and true and with the autobox shifting smoothly. The car has been well serviced and the owner has a range of invoices evidencing the care that has been taken with this car.
