We are pleased to offer this 1994 Jaguar XJ-S Convertible 2+2 in Kingfisher Blue with magnolia leather interior. First registered in May 1994, our vendor has owned the car for almost 16 years. We have a service book which appears to be a duplicate and does contain 10 service entries, however, perplexingly, it bears a registration plate that doesn’t appear on the HPI report. We have been able to marry up at least one of the entries with an invoice supplied showing a correct plate and the extensive collection of MOTs goes back long enough to tally mileage-wise with the last few stamps, suggesting that this may be an error in the HPI records but we cannot say for sure. The small bundle of invoices supplied evidence a further 4 services, together with some other parts and maintenance.
Jaguar’s Kingfisher Blue is one of those fabulous colours that appears blue in some lights but green in others. It’s certainly a sophisticated shade which complements the magnolia leather. Being a late facelift car, it benefits from the body colour bumpers and sits on the polished alloys. The galvanising on this model seems to have held up well, although a machine polish would take the paint to the next level and there are a couple of tiny dents which we doubt would trouble a reputable dent guy. The hood is tight and free from any obvious rips and tears and the car comes complete with the magnolia tonneau cover. The interior is nice and benefits from the facelift dials and the small but handy rear seats.
The car comes with V5C, book pack, bundle of invoices, bundle of old MOTs and on old purchase invoice.
