Car to be at auction 4/17/07
www.classicauctions.co.uk/lotdetail.php

Auction description:
Lot : 07
1984 JAGUAR XJS 5.3 LITRE COUPE
Estimate: NO RESERVE
Mileage: 74746
Colour: OLIVE GREEN
Trim Colour: LIGHT GREEN
Chassis No: SAJJNAEW3BC118258
Engine No: 85030841HA
Registration No: JAS 38Y
CC: 5343
M.O.T: MAY 2007

Finished in Olive Green with light green leather upholstery, this particular example is variously described by the vendor as being in "good" (engine, electrical equipment, chassis, wheels / tyres), "good / smooth" (automatic transmission), "very good" (bodywork) or "excellent" (interior trim) condition. Riding on alloy wheels, 'JAS 38Y' is said to have had just three owners and covered a mere 74,746 miles from new. Apparently accompanied by a "comprehensive service history" and MOT certificate valid until May 23rd 2007, this tempting Jaguar is being offered for sale entirely without reserve.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
