Silverstone Auctions (26/07/2014).
Lynx converted this UK market right hand drive XJS V12 HE manual from new in 1988. Only 67 Lynx Eventers were produced and offered here is build number 40. This particular car was factory fitted with ABS, heated front seats including electrical lumbar adjustment, cruise control, air-conditioning and central locking.
Showing 78,000 miles this particular car has never been restored but has been maintained regardless of cost and as such is in excellent and importantly original condition.
Recently the car has undergone extensive work to insure that it both drives and presents in superb condition. The overhaul included attention to the steering suspension and brakes, renewed air-conditioning, new tyres fitted on to refurbished rims along with a thorough engine service and tune-up.

Auction 22705:
The December Sale
Collector's Motor Cars, Motorcycles and Automobilia
10 Dec 2015 11:00 GMT
We are advised that this Eventer was purchased from CKL Developments of Battle, East Sussex in December 2014 for £46,000 following extensive improvements to the exterior paintwork, including improving and refitting the tailgate, at a cost in excess of £4,360. Subsequent works carried out by a local Jaguar specialist include fitting new foot brake and handbrake pads; two radius arm bushes; oil, fuel and air (x2) filters; and replaced water pump, coolant hoses and drive belts (x4). In addition, the air conditioning compressor and dryer have been replaced and re-gassed; spark plugs and HT leads renewed; and the vacuum hose and wiper arms replaced. Parts and labour total some £4,500. Turning to the interior, the leather upholstery was thoroughly serviced, panels being replaced wherever necessary, and then cleaned and re-Connollised at a cost of just under £1,000. All receipts accompany the car together with service history, tax discs, MoT certificates (including current) and a V5C registration document. This Eventer is said to drive well and look good, the passenger compartment in particular.
