The XJS offered here is probably the finest example on offer in the UK. With just 18,800 warranted miles on the odometer and full history in support, it is also, probably, unique.

Owned by the same Wag Bennett as the S1 E-Type being offered at this sale, this car was popped into a garage in 1990, where it stayed for the next 17 years. It was found due to the same circumstances and was recommissioned and MoT tested in Sept 2007, since when it has done just a few miles.

Finished in factory black with magnolia leather, piped black, the car is in outstanding condition throughout. It drives like a new car, with barely a whisper from the V12 engine. It is completely original but has been the subject of recommissioning and is now ready for the road.

The car is offered complete with the original purchase invoice from 1987, when the car cost £26,000.00. The original dealer pack is present, as is the original service booklet, with service stamps up to 17,551 miles. The invoice for this service is also in the file and is dated 19-03-1990.

The car has to be seen and driven to be believed.
