The vendor states that this 1990 Jaguar XJS 3.6 Auto has an AMAZING HISTORY INCLUDING DESIRABLE KWE UPGRADES
One of the popular and rarer XJS's that were only produced for about three years. The history of this car is said to be amazing and charts the vehicles life from day one. The first owner disposed of the car in 1992 and wrote to the new owner reassuring him of its excellence. The second owner who purchased the vehicle from his local main dealer had it maintained exclusively by Jaguar until its disposal, to marque specialist Robert Hughes in 2007. A detailed mechanical, structural and cosmetic written appraisal was then carried out for the last owner by renowned Jaguar expert Ken Bell who concluded "the overall condition of this vehicle is excellent"
Ever since, the tradition of diligent maintenance has well and truly been continued, with top specialists KWE carrying out a further process of works, much of it on a preventative basis, such as body proofing and recommended handling upgrades, all of which has cost the owner in excess of £20,000. There is more still as the owner has lavished a further £8,000 on this Jaguar since 2007 with other known specialists and main dealers striving to keep things tip top.
It still presents as a show car, and was successfully entered in the pride and joy Jaguar club events- even the engine gleams. The car was even borrowed back by Jaguar for a showroom Heritage display (photos in the file).
At present, the mileage has just turned 50,000 warranted since new.
From the Jaguar purchase invoice through to the most present service,, all bills and invoices are supplied in an enormous file which even includes a dvd by KWE. Pampered to the extreme. It has only been offered for sale due to the last owners house move.
Guide Price: £8000 to £10000
