Car on ebay:www.ebay.co.uk/itm/267178272726
Current bid £2,050, 3 days left in auction, seller rwn2017, 102k miles
Seller's description:
Sadly, I've decided to part with my old XJS. I've owned it for just over 3 years, but it doesn't get used as it should, and this last year it's been left outside unloved, so things have started deteriorating. I put it in for it's MOT last week (failure sheet attached). The engine starts (after a jump) and runs smoothly. No gearbox issues. Known issues are a slow puncture on the NSF, the electric windows have stopped working, fuel gauge is intermittent (probably damp related as they were working a year ago) and the rear boot struts don't hold it up.
There are a few blisters and breaks in the paint, which is a shame as it had £4k spent on rust repairs (sills and arches done) and a full respray 4 years ago. Solid underneath, as the MOT suggests. All photos taken today (4th March).
TWR rear spoiler, twin headlights and a very rare custom-made in America centre ski slope with cup holders! Stacks of old service history, spare keys etc. Genuine low mileage. Private plate will stay with the car. Collection is from near Daisymount on the A30.
