Auction description:
18000 - 24000 EUR
1988 JAGUAR XJ-S CONVERTIBLE V12
Lot 14
5.3L V12 engine
Belgian origin
Beautiful condition of presentation
French registration document
Chassis number: SAJJNADW4DA148587
The XJ-S in our sale is one of 3,675 convertibles equipped with the famous 290 hp 5.3 liter V12 coupled to a 3-speed automatic gearbox. Metallic red in color (original color, but the car was probably repainted) with a black leather interior, it is in good condition, and its road test proved most conclusive. The original Jaguar cover comes with the car's owner's manual, but the notebook has disappeared. A warranty document nevertheless allows us to know that the car was imported from Belgium in the summer of 1996, when its odometer showed 75,632 km. Acquired by its current owner in 2018, it was driven little, today totaling just under 98,000 km, which therefore appears to be its original mileage. The car was serviced in June 2019 and today is just waiting to take you for a ride to the magical sound of the Jaguar V12.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
