One of three Jaguar XJS V12 Convertibles in our sale today, this particular car was sold new by Swain & Jones Jaguar of Farnham in August 1991.

It has had five owners in its 24 years to date and has so far covered only 54,500 miles. Always well maintained, it has no fewer than 14 stamps in the service book up to May 2000 at 48,754 miles when it was sold by Chiltern of Bovingdon for £15,750 to an Englishman who lived in France (purchase invoice on file). There is a bill for a 15th service in France in August 2001 at 51,662 miles which cost almost 3,000 Euros, thus giving an average service interval of only 3,600 miles - pretty impressive by any standards.

Mainly kept in storage since then, it remains in very good order throughout and is due to have a fresh MOT in time for the sale, the last one having expired in July 2014.
