Car to be at auction 10/17
www.coys.co.uk/cars/1989-jaguar-xjs-convertible-2

Auction description:
ESTIMATE £13,000- £18,000
Auction The Spirit of Motoring, London October 2017
Lot Number 344
Reg. Number UK Registered
Chassis Number SAJJNADW3DB164319
Year 1989
Make Jaguar
Model XJS Convertible

Produced in 1989 the car on offer today is presented in easily the most desirable colour combination of metallic Solent Blue with a stunning Beige Full leather interior. The body is straight and shows little sign of its age as does the leather interior which is very presentable. The comprehensive history file indicates that the car has covered just 56,800 miles from new and has recently been treated to a full service just 400 miles ago. During the vendors ownership, the car has been maintained by marque specialists with recent work including a replacement gearbox and refurbished radiator. This lovely example has just received a 100 point check over and fresh MoT certificate and comes equipped with two sets of keys and a UK registration document. A fantastic example of perhaps the most iconic grand tourer of its era.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
