1987 JAGUAR XJ-SC CABRIOLET 5.3 - MANUAL

Presenting in Jaguar Green with beige leather interior trim.

Delivered new by City Automobiles of William Street Sydney on the the 6th of January 1988.

Early service history shows attention in Sydney, documentation shows ownership in Queensland before it has come to it's present owner in South Australia. Most recent service invoice is dated the 7th of June 2021.

This vehicle was converted to a 5 speed manual when in it's Queensland ownership, around 2010. A TK0500 5 speed manual gearbox was sourced from American Powertrain of Tennessee USA and work completed by a workshop in Nerang QLD.

A considerable paper file is held covering much of the above conversion.

Powered by a 5.3 Litre V12 engine, it produced when released 217Kw and 433Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox. Performance claimed for the automatic original version suggests 0-100kph in 7.2 seconds and a top speed near 245kph. Performance for a converted manual would be similar but much more fun to drive.

A fine classic touring cabriolet which is worth your attention. Would be perfect for summer cruises, car club events and shows.

Eligible for Historic registration in most jurisdictions, this equates to minimal on road costs.
