Ebay item 6/7/17

Current bid £3,400.90 reserve not met 2 bids 4 days left in auction, seller joe_suzuki, 79k miles.

Sellers description:
Always well maintained this rolling project has been a keen passion of mine, She's structurally very robust, starts first time every time, sounds fabulous and runs beautifully. This winter I equipped her with new suspension and sub frame, so she now handles superbly too, like new!
The XJS is an affordable classic, so long as you're not using her on long daily commutes, The 5.3 V12 roars pleasantly, it's very distinctive, loud and a real head turner. Also, at 30 years old tax is low. Jaguar only made a few hundred of the Cabs before they built convertibles, so they're a fairly rare sight, particularly running perfectly so she's a good investment. Hence, If I get a good offer id let her go, if not I'm happy to just hang onto her and come the cooler weather the next job is some minor cosmetic work. A good offer would include the personal plate. Lots of paperwork with this as you might imagine, if you're interested do contact me, the only reason I'm looking at selling her is I don't really have the time to enjoy driving her,

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
