On eBay UK on April 15, 2011. Has 95,234 miles and asking UKL 8,500.
This is the American derivitive of this Jaguar model with the T-Bar open top format, right hand drive. There is a fixed fabric covered safety roll over T-Bar on the American models, which has three fabric covered solid panels that unclip in to make it an open top (there are protective bags to store them in). There is also a fabric drop top that can be fitted to the rear section instead for quick drop down summer use. Only a limited number of these were built for the UK market. Extensively refurbished, brought up to as near to new condition body wise as realistically possible, Bodywork deep check/renew, paintwork, leather, wood trim etc. New gearbox (fitted by top Jaguar men at Snaith) and engine service/checkover. Headlights replaced with USA format of twins. Original steering wheel spare with car, special steering wheel fitted. Top well known Jaguar collector/Jaguar parts dealer states this is an exceptional car, he can be spoken to by arrangement. Steel metallic Blue with dark royal blue cloth trim to removable hood panels. Leather and walnut interior. Stainless sills with Jag motif. Engine bay needs finishing off cosmetically (paint and polish to engine parts). No corrosion in sills, wing tops or other notorious places, solid underneath. The leaping cat on the bonnet is not an original feature and can be removed by the purist if required. A good example of this model, to either run around in, or do a bit more work on to take to shows. A good summer hobby! Worth a viewing, but for serious buyers only. Registration number not included in sale, but is available. Current registration on vehicle is C582 LGE. Ex. Ray Taylor of UK, London.
