For Sale September 04, 2013 on eBay UK. Has 90,428 miles and six previous Owners. The boot lid and rear license panel have been replaced, and are currently painted Red. Jaguar XJ-SC, 5.3, V-12, Cabriolet, 1986. For Restoration, V-5 is present. Interesting Registration number, which is transferable. I have had this car in storage for 9 years. Having now arrived at the conclusion that I will never get to do anything with it, I have decided to sell it to someone who will. It has the rust that most of these cars succumed to but I feel it would be worth saving. It just needs someone with more enthusium than I now have. The rust affects both sills and to some degree inner sills, floor, and jacking points. As is usual but less severe, also the rear wheel arches and rear lower corners. I was told when I bought the car the front axel beam is rusted but I have not checked this. I do however include a used item in the sale. The front seats each have a small seam where the stiching has given up. These are approximately 3 to 4 inches in length. The headlining is sagging on the lift out panels, otherwise the interior is sound. Currently not running as a mouse has been at the plug leads. It was running and driving superbly 4 years ago with excellent oil pressure and no smoke. It also has the twin headlamp conversion. The car will only be For Sale this one time as it has to go. If it does not sell, it will be broken down for parts.
