Ebay item 6/22/18
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-XJS-C-CABRIOLET-1986-3-6-XJS-GREY-TARGA-TOP-RESTORATIO ...
Classified Ad price: £3,995, seller g-wagenuk, 69k miles.
Sellers description:
Just 68,000 miles with only 4 previous owners 3 of which are the same family. We purchased this vehicle a year ago with the intension of restoring it. Regretfully the car has stood untouched since purchase, hence the car is for sale now. We had been looking for a solid example of the XJS-C, the underside of the car is so good and untouched. It is a very good example of this rare XJS-C model.
Small areas of body work need attention, the inside wood needs sorting, the leather is all good, just a clean and feed. It drives but would need a new brake master cylinder and overhaul of the brake system. The past care to this car shows through to this day.
History a comprehensive history comes with the car, service book all stamped last service in 2003 and it's done less than 1,000 miles since! A Jaguar book pack including the RAC membership card for the first owner on 16/05/1986. A collection of invoices including some from TWR Oxford are in the file along with a letter from the first owner's daughter in 1996 explaining to the new owner it's family history and reason for the low mileage.
In brief we are selling a rare and solid Jaguar convertible, with low mileage, minor work and the best history you could wish for.
