September 23, 2016, for sale again. Reg E 284 NUL. Listing says "Rat rod XJS Cabriolet 3.6 manual. This is one of the last few manuals made in 1987. The car was restored a few years ago now Maize Yellow, it has banded steel wheels with new tyres and TWR suspension. It has had new lower panels in fiberglass fitted so will never rust. Could do with painting in a rust color to match the rest of the car. Dechromed, lightened bumpers, flushed boot, bullet mirrors, and folder full of history and receipts. The car is 30 years old but it is solid as a rock underneath with lots of new panels. Because most of the car is bare metal you can see all its sins (not that there are any). MOT till may next year, cheap insurance only £130 a year with classic car insurance, many pictures". 

Previously for sale February 2016 on Gumtree.com UK. Asking UKL 3,995 and listing says the current mileage is 162,883. Private Seller. Location now says UK, North London, Enfield. Listing says "1988 XJS Cabriolet 3.6 Manual. Restored a few years ago to an outlaw look with banded steel wheels. Unused for a couple years. This is not a restoration project, more like recommissioning. Has sticky windows, etc. Lots of history. Drives very well. May consider partial trade". 

Previously for sale December 2015 on carandclassic.co.uk asking UKL 4,995 and the current mileage was not stated. Has been re-sprayed some very weird Yellow color and now shows a Black interior. Location now Hertfordshire, Cheshunt. Listing says "1987 XJ-SC 3.6 Manual For Sale. This has had a fortune spent on it. Was restored a couple of years ago. Still has the stickers on the tyres. New fibreglass panels on the rear lower panels, and the complete front so it will never rust. As you can see it's been modified will slim bumpers, banded steel wheels, etc. If interested best to contact and come and have a look".
