This Jaguar XJS-C Cabriolet is said to be in very good condition, and has covered only 85,000 miles. It is presented in an unusual colour combination of Old English White with a blue hood and cabriolet tops. The interior is blue leather and this car has the rear seats for 2+2 seating. We are told by the vendor that over the years he has spent a small fortune on this vehicle. It has had a full strip down and has been re-painted in its original colour, the wheels have been refurbished, the interior has been refurbished, and all sorts of new parts fitted. The bodywork is said to be in nice condition and free from dents, chips and scratches. The glass around the car is good, and recent new front headlamps and side wing repeaters have been fitted. The boot is good, and the engine bay is nice and clean. The engine, being a 3.6, sounds good, and the vendor tells us it starts every time and has had a recent oil service. Also two new front brake calipers have been fitted.
The vendor states that this vehicle has not been driven in anger for many years, so some re-comissioning will be necessary before the car is used. The car has been stored for quite some time in a heated barn, but has not been used. There is a small amount of history with the car, old MoTs etc, dating back to 2003. To summarise, this is a great looking Jaguar classic that is offered with a very reasonable reserve.
There is a drop box available with this car showing photos of the underside of the car plus a short video of the engine running and the car being driven, which is very useful for online and commission bidders: www.dropbox.com/sh/34knu96j29a2mbu/AADXtVKHuvw7yhUtTxfYUspya
