For Sale on eBay Australia April 01, 2014.  Listing says "Jaguar XJ-SC Cabriolet, 4-Speed Auto, 6-cylinder. Body is really good, no notable rust and floor pans are perfect. Roof panels and convertible roof section are in 100% condition and 100% water tight. Motor runs really well with approx. 89,000 Ks on the clock. Two tyres are new and two nearly new, the spare has not ever been used. 4-speed auto shifts well. Thanks for taking the time to read this description. I will not be listing pages of what a Cabriolet is, as if your looking for one you know. This is one of the last cars produced by Jaguar, its a late 1987 model so it has the 4-speed auto and the updated Magnolia interior. It is Windsor Blue and is genuinely a really nice car. It is just how it left the factory in that it still has the factory original brace bar fitted to the rear end, exhausts are standard, however I have replaced the front driving lights. I still have the remains of the last set but they were a little tired. I am selling the car as I have finally found an XJ coupe that I have been looking for, and yes its in need of a resto (they all are), so the Cab must go to fund the next one. This car is a regular diver and I would get in it and drive it interstate tomorrow. The motor is tight and it pulls well. You would have noted this is an AJ6, 3.6 liter motor and not one of those V-12 beast that suck juice like crazy. You will get almost twice the cruising millage out of this beautiful motor. They are simple and efficient and cheap to service. This one has no leaks no noises and coupled with the later 4-speed auto is a real pleasure to drive. An important thing to note about this model and year XJS Jag is that the suspension components and brakes are the same as the earlier XJ series. Really easy to work on and really cheap. I am not 100% but I think its the last model that used this gear. The steering rack is unique to this model and I have a spare that goes with the car. Connelly leather interior is the later version with higher bolster seats in factory original Magnolia colour. It is in absolutely beautiful condition. With front and rear factory seats. No issues, no tears, may have a dirty mark here and there but I will clean prior to sale. No scuffs, carpet is NOS and is really nice. The boot is clean and tidy and includes the roof panel bag. Battery is a month or two old. I have fitted a NOS factory double lined soft top. AC works well, no issues with electrics, windows, lights etc even the gas struts on the bonnet all work as they should. I serviced all of the suspension and brakes when I Club Reg'd the car a couple of years ago. It sailed through the roadworthy test. I have never let any issue persist with this car as I use it to attend club meetings and have a great deal of pride in it. It is not concours, but it is far better that most you will find. The bodywork and paint are really nice, no notable damage and it sits perfectly. All shocks and suspension is A1. Check the pics as the rear bumper has a slight misalignment. I have included a picture of one of the starfish alloys to show that they have some minor marking but they present okay. A refinish would smarten them up a little. I have fitted a battery kill switch as I do park it outside when I take it for a run. Steering wheel is up to buyer. I have a Magnolia MOMO wheel, a Black MOMO wheel or the wood grain fitted. I purchased the car from the second owner who purchased it from a medical professional as his personal import from new. It had 1,500 kms on the clock when sold. From that point all kilometres were WA, then Victoria travel. I have not registered the vehicle, it's currently on club plates, so the next registered owner will only the third owner.  Car is located in Mt Eliza Victoria". A photo was also posted on the JDC XJS Register by Bleasie on March 23, 2014. He said "Just popped up in Mt Eliza Victoria, VIN 140109".  The first owner brought the car over to Australia with him as a new vehicle, purchased it from Kellows, I think. The second owner purchased it with some 15,000 km's on the clock and ran it until last year, 2010. I purchased the car late last year in 2010. It already has a new roof and a new interior. I believe it is “a factory 4-seater”.  Rare 3.6 Automatic imported from the UK to Australia.
