Car advertised as for sale at:

    www.jaguarclassic.com/fahrzeuge/index.shtml

The car on offer is an original Swiss car, but a personal import. We took over the car from the first owner. Even today he is offended that the Swiss importer, although he was a regular customer, never became a customer of his lighting company. So he ordered the car in London and drove it to Switzerland. Not only that he ordered a hand switch, but also the red interior and the red exterior color is extremely rare. He drove the car regularly and the car accompanied him until the end of his car driving career. Unfortunately, the older gentleman crawled on the glue of some full-bodied car dealers recently and so the original interior, which we have now lovingly restored, suffered a lot. The paint was also reapplied and the engine management was tinkered with. We have now done a complete service and fixed all the sins of the past few years, we wanted to have such a rare car as our personal, because we have never had a hand control XJ-S. As luck would have it, we were offered another hand-switched XJ-S shortly afterwards, in the special color black - which has been our company color for 33 years. Therefore, we now have to part with a heavy heart from our "fire engine". But not before we have had a nice holiday trip to the Maritime Alps. Fr. 58,500 .--

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
