This car was sent to Group 44Inc and built into 'XJR2', the second Group 44 race Jaguar (after the V12 etype) and the very first racing XJS built anywhere. Campaigned succesfully in 76 shakedown year and in 1977 won Bob Tullius the Trans Am title. Used for final races in 1978 to help gain enough points to secure both the drivers and manufacturers Trans Am titles.
