Current Bid: $3,000 Ends In: 6 days
Auction description:
This 1994 Jaguar XJS was sold new in California, resided in Oregon and Washington State since 2000, and was acquired by its current owner in 2012. Power is from a 6.0-liter V12 backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in white over tan leather. Service carried out by the selling dealer under current ownership included installation of new soft top hydraulic cylinders as well as oil and filter change in October 2018. This XJS is offered on behalf of its owner with a clean Carfax report and a clean Oregon title.
The car is finished in white with body-colored trim on the grille, headlight surrounds, bumper covers, and factory deck lid spoiler. Stock 16″ 5-spoke wheels feature gold accents and are fitted with Mastercraft tires.
Styling updates for the final-generation XJS included aerodynamic headlights for US-market cars and a full-width taillight assembly. The selling dealer reports that the tan convertible top on this example has been fitted with two new hydraulic cylinders.
The cabin is upholstered in beige leather with wood veneers on the dash, center stack, and doors. The car retains a factory airbag steering wheel, and the seller describes the air conditioning system and stereo as functional.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and a quartet of auxiliary gauges. Just over 78k miles are shown on the mechanical odometer, approximately 13k of which were added under current ownership.
The 6.0L HE V12 was factory rated at 318 horsepower with 336 lb-ft of torque, and sends power to the rear wheels via a 4-speed 4L80E automatic transmission. Partial service records are available from current ownership, and the selling dealer has performed oil and filter changes for the last eight years.
The XJS received outboard rear brakes after 1992. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other issues in California, Oregon, and Washington State through July 2018.
