This 1990 Jaguar XJS convertible shows 26k miles and was reportedly acquired by the current owner approximately 16 years ago. The car is finished in Glacier White over an Isis Blue interior, and power comes from a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated convertible top, an aftermarket stereo, and automatic climate control. This XJS is now offered with two sets of keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Glacier White (NDP) and features a blue convertible top and quad headlights. The seller states that the pinstriping is faded, and the passenger-side mounting tabs for the front spoiler are cracked.
The 15″ wheels feature Jaguar center caps, and Dunlop tires are mounted up front with Yokohama tires mounted at the rear.
The interior is upholstered in Isis Blue leather with burl wood trim on the dashboard, doors, and center console. Cabin amenities include air conditioning, heated seats, an aftermarket Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo, and a K40 radar detector. The power window motors were reportedly replaced in April 2019, and a dash light was also replaced at that time. The wood trim is cracked next to the shift lever, the driver’s seat shows wear on the left bolster, and the headliner is said to be fragile and torn.
Instrumentation includes several drum-style secondary gauges, a 160-mph speedometer, and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Just over 26k miles are shown on the six-digit odometer, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
Power from the 5.3-liter V12 is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Service performed in April 2019 reportedly included changing the fluids and replacing the oil pressure sending unit. The air conditioning was converted to R134a in September 2010.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and registration history in Texas, Arizona, and Washington.
