This 1993 Jaguar XJS convertible is finished in black over a tan leather interior and shows under 34k miles. The car has spent much of its life in Iowa and was acquired by the seller in 2016 from its reported second owner. Power is supplied by a 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, and maintenance in the last year included replacing the fuel filter and front shock mounts as well as performing an oil change and coolant flush. This XJS is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Iowa title in the seller’s name.

The exterior is finished in black with tan pinstripes on the sides and features fog lights, chrome door handles, and a trunk-mounted third brake light. The power-operated tan convertible top features a heated glass rear window, and detailed photos of the top and lenses are provided in the gallery.

Aftermarket 15” bolt-on wire wheels wear faux Jaguar center knockoff caps and are mounted with Michelin Pilot tires. A full-size spare is covered and stored in the trunk.

The seats are upholstered in tan leather with a matching dash, door panels, and carpets. The interior features wood trim accents as well as power-adjustable and heated seats. The AM/FM/cassette stereo is inoperable per the seller.

Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows just under 34k miles, approximately 1,600 of which were added by the seller.

The 4.0-liter AJ6 inline-six sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Maintenance performed in the last year is said to have included an oil change, a coolant flush, and a new fuel filter.

The upper front shock mounts were reportedly replaced during current ownership. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery below.

The March 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and displays history in South Carolina and Iowa from its first entry in October 1992 through its most recent update in August 2019.
