This 1985 Jaguar XJS was purchased new by the seller’s father and is finished in red over black leather. It is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a glass sunroof, factory 15″ wheels, a Nardi steering wheel, automatic climate control, power windows, cruise control, and an Alpine digital cassette stereo. Service performed in preparation for the sale included replacement of the tires and cooling system hoses as well as an oil change and chassis lubrication. This XJS shows 36k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of his father with maintenance and fuel records, a Jaguar service manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The exterior is finished in red and features matching beltline trim, chrome mirrors and bumpers, a glass sunroof, fog lights with covers, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes that the automatic antenna does not work, and its rubber seal is missing.
Factory 15″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with 215/70 Westlake Radial RP18 tires that show 2020 date codes. A full-size spare is located in the trunk along with the factory tool roll. Curb rash is visible on the wheels.
The cabin is upholstered in black leather with matching carpets, Jaguar-branded floor mats, and wood trim along the door panels and dashboard. A wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel has been added, and amenities include automatic climate control, power windows, cruise control, and an Alpine digital AM/FM/cassette stereo. The front passenger seat shows a burst seam, and the seller notes that the horn is not wired to the steering wheel.
Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, auxiliary gauges, and warning lights. The six-digit odometer shows just over 36k miles.
The fuel-injected 5.3-liter HE V12 delivers power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Service performed in preparation for the sale reportedly includes an oil change, lubrication of the chassis, and replacement of cooling system hoses.
