Jaguar XJ-SC. This is one of a limited factory production run for a convertible XJS. The front panels are a T-top design and can be removed separately while the rear portion of the top can be dropped with the front panels removed or in place. The original owner lived in the Meadville, PA area and there may have only been a few owners afterwards.

The car is in good shape, no visible rust that I could find. That may not indicate the car is rust free, just that there are no large rust areas that are obvious. The car runs and drives well. The radiator hoses were replaced a few years back and the oil and filter were changed this past summer. The cruise control does not work and the HVAC seems to blow A/C in the winter and heat in the summer. It does work but not consistently. Sometimes the A/C and heat work as they should.

The radio and cassette deck work but the release for the cassette does not always work. So you may be able to play a cassette but might not get it back.

The headliner for the rear convertible top is hanging down and will need to be repaired or replaced. The rest of the interior is in very good shape.

1986 Jaguar XJ-SC, Low Mileage, Excellent Condition, LOW RESERVE. Selling this car for a club member. Driven only 1500 miles over the last 3 years of ownership with no problems. Body is excellent having no rust. Floors are solid. Trunk is super clean with no rust and excellent carpet. Paint is excellent with no dents or scrapes, there are a few chips on the hood but hardly noticeable. T-Tops and retractable top are excellent including clear rear glass. Engine runs great does not smoke, uses no oil. Smooth riding car! Transmission shifts as it should in all gears. Exhaust is excellent, brakes excellent. A/C was working when purchased but now has a noisy AC Compressor, maybe bearing or recharge. Didn't often use A/C as top was always off. Tires and wheels are very good. Interior is excellent showing a nice patina on the leather. Driver's seat has small repairable seam separation. All vinyl, dash, panels and carpet look new. A small repair is needed to the headliner bar for the T-Tops. All gauges and electrics work with the exception of the antenna which does not retract and the brake light stays on as the emergency brake needs to be adjusted. Tire jack and original bag, T-Top storage bag, and original cover for when top is off are all here. This car has always been garaged, pampered and is PA inspected till October 2016. As I said, I am listing this for a club member and he is motivated to sell, so if you have a reasonable offer, let me know.
