Car to be at auction 12/15
www.barons-auctions.com/auction_details.php

Auction description:
1992 Jaguar XJS V12 Guy Salmon Special Edition
First Registered: 1992 Registration No: K 603 PGJ
Mileage: 18514
Chassis No: SAJJNAEW3EP185264
MOT: March 2016
Colour: Burgundy Metallic

There were apparently only 350 Guy Salmon Special Editions produced, and this must be one of the last. The car has only had three owners, and the previous owner had the car for 16 years. It would seem that after a short time in his possession, health problems prevented him from using it. It was dry stored under a vehicle ramp with another car on it. When the owner subsequently died, his widow decided to sell it, and on inspection, it was found that fluids leaked from the car above had damaged a lot of the paintwork. The insurance company decided not to repaint the car and it is classified as a Category D Insurance Loss.

The car has been re-painted and is in extremely good condition, the exterior, the interior, and all the mechanicals are excellent. This car shows a recorded mileage of 18,514, with just less than 2,000 miles being recorded since September 2000. Whilst there is no hard evidence to back up the low mileage shown, the known history, and the condition of the car suggests that it is correct.

Guide Price: £4,000 to £6,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
