* Odometer reading: 19,800
* Estimate: £3,500 - £5,500

This example is an extremely rare low mileage car having been cared for in the hands of just two owners. Finished in an attractive Cobalt Blue and contrasting Tan Hide rated by the vendor as 10/10, this is the most attractive XJS we've seen in recent memory. The 5.3litre V12 engine delivers impressive drivability, and when called upon can easily satisfy the drivers desire to challenge the cars touring performance. Offered with V5C registration certificate and a guaranteed disqualification from the green brigades' Christmas card list, this Jaguar is undoubtedly the most elegant way to tour the countries highways...

Car returned to auction 4/11
www.barons-auctions.com/details.php
Auction description:
Lot No: 144
Manufacturer Jaguar Cars
Model XJS Coupe
First Registered 1983
Registration No MFW555Y
Engine No 8S024360HB
Chassis No SAJJNAEW3BC111211
MOT None
Colour Solent Blue
A true 'timewarp' example, this XJS is reported to have covered just 19,800 miles from new. The car had one previous company owner in 1989, then came into the ownership of a Mr O'Keefe who used it infrequently until his death, at which point it was stored for the following 13 years.
In its current ownership, the car has been recommissioned with a full engine service and a new headlining. It is reported to drive very nicely, and it is expected that a new MOT will be obtained prior to the sale.
Paperwork offered in the sale of the car includes the original Jaguar XJS book pack.
Estimate £6,800-7,500
