The model we are presenting is a first generation, known as the “Pre-HE”, of which 15,525 units were built (barely more than 10% of the total production of XJS) between September 1975 and July 1981. It was delivered new in the United States, then joined England in the mid-1980s. It was imported to France in April 1993. It will then be kept for 20 years by a single owner who will sell it in 2013.
The car is now in perfect working order, a major maintenance was carried out last year by the JJR establishments in Saint Ouen. The paint is on the other hand of average quality and deserves a repair.
