August 22, 2016 the car is still in Australia. Engine number 8S37011SA, VIN SAJJNACY3CC125590. Body colour is Red. At this stage she is to the best of my knowledge original. Her paintwork on both the boot and bonnet have some small crazing, probably due to exposure to sunlight during her 30 year life. Location Marshall, Geelong.

May 31, 2014 on www.carpoint.com.au in NSW. Asking AUD $ 20,000 with 128,000 kilometers. Listing says "1985 Jaguar XJ-SC. Understood to be one of a very few imported and with compliance plate. All original (except for MP3 player). Cruise control and electric aerial for radio are not working. Red body, black interior, black removable roof panels, and a black fold down roof / window".

This car is now in Victoria, Australia (Geelong region). Has had a Tremec 5 speed conversion done by a local mechanic.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
